On Wednesday 11th and Thursday 19th December 2020 various members of the POD team popped over to Queen Mary’s Gate (QMG), a development of 388 units previously managed by the UK’s largest property manager, to introduce themselves to residents and hear about the issues that matter most to them, in readiness of our appointment on the 1st January 2020.

Wanting to kick things off to a great start, meeting with residents was very important to POD as it presented the opportunity to discover how they are feeling and why many of them were disappointed with the previous management of QMG.

The turnout was great and it was clear from our visits that residents felt neglected in the past when it came to dealing with the issues on site. They discussed issued around broken lifts, uncertainty concerning cladding, general communication, poor estate lighting and security.

By gaining an understanding of our customers priorities in this way we have been able to focus the on-site team’s priorities for the new year and put in place a plan, alongside the client, to address these over the coming months.

We were also able to introduce Karolina to residents and staff on site. Karolina joins as Development Manager for QMG and will be based permanently on site to assist residents and manage the on-site team.

A more detailed update on the issues captured and our plans to resolve them will be posted on the dedicated QMG site page so that residents have a clear understanding of our plans to take of them.
