Renovo

Renovo, is a beautifully situated estate in West Thurrock, located just a few miles from Southend-on-Sea and near all the beautiful beaches the area has to offer, it makes it for a very picturesque and sought after spot to live.

The estate offers open beautifully manicured large open green spaces that are hidden away from the general public and an aesthetically pleasing pond with an outstanding water feature to match.

The estate, built by Bellway Homes, so far offers 5 blocks of apartments all varying in number of bedrooms, size and designs. Located on the estate is also a number of charming looking houses ranging from two to four bedrooms. Bellway have not finalised the development with phase 2 still to come but once completed the estate will have a total of 540 homes finished to the highest of standards.

Since the building of the estate, POD has worked tirelessly with the developer to ensure management provides the best possible experience for the customers. We have implemented systems that have been tailored for the estate to ensure no maintenance tasks go overdue and visits from contractors are being done on time and to the best possible standard.

As with any estate, sometimes unexpected handover issues can occur. POD confronted these head on, and quickly began to organize solutions. Upon handover we realised that some areas such as the soft landscaped areas had not been installed as per the landscape management plan. We, along with Bellway, arranged for site visits to discuss the matter and get to the bottom of it before it became an issue for residents. The end result was that certain areas such as a hedge rows and seeded areas were to be replanted at no expense of the residents of Renovo.

At POD we look to build relationships with all residents and this is demonstrated by numerous good reviews and feedback comments received from residents, especially with how POD has handled defects. POD has smart systems which allow for easy and precise updates to be sent out and, for example, if a window cleaner is attending we are made aware via our contractor booking system, we are able to update residents accordingly.

Phase 1 has now been onboarded and we look forward to receiving phase 2 from Bellway in the coming months where we will work diligently to get the same great results that we currently have.

Managing Renovo has been a great experience for me personally as it shows just what can be done with hard work and a great team behind you. I look forward to managing Renovo for many years to come!
